Fungal Infections

Fungal infections are caused by fungi, which are a type of microorganism. Fungi are present in the environment and can infect various parts of the body, leading to a range of fungal diseases Athlete's Foot (Tinea Pedis): Athlete's foot is a common fungal infection of the skin, primarily affecting the feet. It causes itching, burning, redness, and peeling of the skin, particularly between the toes.Ringworm (Tinea Corporis): Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin that can affect anypartofthe body. It typically appears as a red, ring-shaped rash with clear skin in the center and can be itchy or painful.Yeast Infections: Yeast infections are caused by an overgrowth of the fungus Candida, commonly Candida albicans. They can affect various parts of the body, including the mouth (oral thrush), genitals (vaginal yeast infection), and skin folds. Symptoms include itching, redness, swelling, and white discharge.
